Unusual semi-precious stone jewellery UK necklaces handmade from Amethyst

I have many unique jewellery necklace designs that have been handmade from a wide range of semi-precious stones and here I will show you some of the unusual handmade jewellery necklace I have created from the beautiful deep purple and lilac coloured semi-precious Amethyst.

I love working with Amethyst in my unique jewellery designs both on its own and teamed up with other semi-precious stones. I use both the deep purple coloured Amethyst and the paler lilac amethyst in my unique necklace designs. I also use a combination of both smooth polished stones and polished nuggets to create my semi-precious Amethyst necklaces

Below I will show you some examples of my Amethyst necklace designs

This Amethyst necklace has been handmade from both the deep purple coloured Amethyst and the paler lilac coloured Amethyst and this example shows you perfectly the range of colours that this stunning semi-precious stone comes in. In the centre of the unique jewellery design I have used faceted nuggets of this purple semi-precious stone and each of these has been spaced with a deep pink coloured freshwater pearl. I have also added the semi-precious stone Black Onyx to this amethyst necklace design. Black and purple always look good together and this looks great with the deep purple and lilac amethyst beads

 Turquoise is another semi-precious stone that amethyst compliments and with this chunky turquoise and amethyst you can see how the two natural colours compliment each other perfectly. I have used smooth polished Turquoise beads against rough nuggets of the amethyst. This is another of my amethyst unique necklace designs where I have added freshwater pearls to the design. This piece is a unique semi-precious jewellery design with only one being handmade and like all my pieces this amethyst necklace fastens with a sterling silver clasp. 

 Again a combination of lilac and deep purple Amethyst stones have been used to create this Amethyst necklace a UK handcrafted necklace design. The long rice shaped beads of the lilac coloured Amethyst have been faceted so that they will catch the light. In this unique semi-precious jewellery design I have used large round beads of semi-precious Agate in a deep dark green colour and these semi-precious stones are very highly polished. When I was little I was told that purple and green should never be put together but I think they look stunning in this unique jewellery design. This unique amethyst semi-precious necklace design I have spaced the semi-precious stones with sterling silver beads

This amethyst necklace has been handmade entirely from deep purple coloured amethyst beads and this is a truly original design. I created a pendant for this necklace from chunky blocks of Amethyst and I then sat this Amethyst pendant on a necklace of Amethyst beads. This necklace has been handmade from a collection of these deep purple semi-precious stones in different shapes and sizes and in the collection you will see star shaped beads, round, tube, cube and more. The sterling silver clasp that I choose to use on this Amethyst necklace design was to pretty to hide at the back of the design so I have placed the fastener at the front of the necklace making it a little bit unusual and also a lot easier to fasten.
