This chunky grey statement necklace is one of those unique statement jewellery designs that is truly unique and original. It has been created from the semi-precious gemstone agate. This handmade statement jewellery design has a stunning teardrop shaped agate gemstone pendant as the focal point of the unique handmade jewellery design. 

This agate pendant has been framed with long sticks of mother of pearl and each of these have been spaced with semi-precious gemstone beads.

Chunky Blue Gemstone Statement Necklace, Statement Jewellery

When creating my handmade statement jewellery designs I am constantly sourcing new materials to create my statement designs. I do lean to semi-precious gemstones in my unique handmade jewellery designs and with this blue gemstone statement necklace I have used the semi-precious stone banded agate in a lovely deep blue colour with hints of purple running through the dragon veined agate.

In the centre of this unique handmade statement jewellery necklace design sits a chunky block of a deep blue coloured dragon veined agate. This forms the focal point for this unique handcrafted gemstone statement necklace. 

I have framed this chunky block of blue dragon veined agate with sticks of blue dragon veined agate sticks. 

Each of these deep blue dragon veined agate sticks have been spaced with round faceted amazonite semi-precious gemstone beads. I have used the amazonite in the handcrafted statement jewellery design to compliment the paler blue colours in the agate. Amazonite is a lovely soft duck egg blue colour and works perfectly with the deep blue of the agate.

I have also added some tiny crystal beads to the chunky statement necklace design to add a little bit of sparkle to the unique statement jewellery design. 

You will see that I sometimes add crystal beads to add that little bit of sparkle to the handmade jewellery designs but the semi-precious gemstone beads are the star of my handmade statement jewellery designs. 

Long Drop Statement Earrings UK, Handcrafted Jewellery Design

I would say that the most popular collection of designs in my handmade statement jewellery designs are my statement earrings. I think this is because earrings are more popular to be worn as they can be worn for any and many occasions and handmade earrings are the first piece of handmade jewellery that is seen when you first meet someone and statement earrings are a great way of making that first statement. 

I have chosen bright pink semi-precious gemstones to create these long gemstone statement earrings. At the base of these long pink statement earrings I have placed a long elegant teardrop shaped pink banded agate bead and to enhance the stunning natural colour of this pink agate I have set this long teardrop shaped pink bead under a roundel of a mat black onyx. One of the new semi-precious gemstones that I have added to my handmade statement jewellery designs.

These two pink and black semi-precious gemstones dangle under a disc of a paler coloured semi-precious jasper disc and again I have added a mat black onyx bead to enhance the pink of the jasper. 

Each of these semi-precious gemstone beads have been spaced with sterling silver spacer beads and these pink statement earrings have been hinged so these statement jewellery earrings will have a lot of movement.

Unique Chunky Statement Necklace, Unique Handmade Jewellery

I have already said that I am constantly searching for new semi-precious gemstones to use in my handmade statement jewellery designs so I was very excited when I found this golden quartz that I have chosen to use as a focal point for this chunk gemstone statement necklace. 

It is a stunning quartz and very unique and original. The pendant that I have used for this statement necklace jewellery design has been faceted and as you can see in the photo I am showing you it catches the light beautifully and it surely does make a statement.

I have placed this golden quartz pendant in the centre of a statement necklace that has chunky purple jasper gemstone beads that frame this unique statement pendant.

The natural markings in this deep purple coloured jasper compliment the gold veins that run through the pendant.

This unique statement necklace jewellery design then continues with antique gold coloured quartz beads and between these golden quartz beads I have set square shaped jasper gemstone beads in the same deep purple colour. 

I have used a toggle clasp as a fastener with this handmade statement jewellery design.

Chunky Black Orange Statement Bracelet, Unique Statement Jewellery UK

I have shown you handmade statement necklaces and handmade statement earrings that are all a part of my ever growing and eclectic collection of unique handmade statement jewellery so this time I am going to show you a handmade statement bracelet.

With this black and bright orange statement bracelet from a combination of the semi-precious gemstones black onyx, agate and crystal quartz. 

In the handmade gemstone statement jewellery bracelet I have added a black onyx bead and this black onyx bead has been highly polished.

Next to these I have used tubes of a black weathered agate and these black semi-precious stones are a mat black and also have a crackled effect and are a complete contrast to the polished black onyx but I do like to use contrasts in my unique statement jewellery designs.

Among the black semi-precious stone beads I have placed three sticks of a bright orange crystal quartz. The orange of the quartz against the black of the onyx and agate look amazing and really stand out. These orange crystal quartz semi-precious beads have been spaced with tiny faceted black spinels. 

I have used an extending hook and eye clasp with this unique handmade statement bracelet design so it is going to fit most wrist length. 

Handmade Statement Jewellery Design, Green Statement Necklace UK

Another piece of handmade statement jewellery where I have used a quartz pendant as the focal point for a unique statement necklace design. Again this quartz pendant has been multi faceted so that it will reflect any light that it catches. 

This is one of the unique statement jewellery designs where I have added a different medium to make a statement and these are large blocks of mother of pearl. I love these as I have not seen them being used in any other unique statement jewellery necklace designs anywhere else. 

The focal point for this green statement necklace is a trapezoid shaped green quartz pendant and this is set between large chunky blocks of mother of pearl, an amazing combination. 

Between these large chunky blocks of mother of pearl sits some diamond shaped kiwi quartz beads. Again a unique semi-precious gemstone that I have not seen used in other unique statement jewellery designs.

This kiwi quartz is a lovely delicate green colour. This green statement necklace then continues with round green cracked agate beads and with this green statement necklace I have used a toggle clasp as a fastener.

Long Drop Statement Earrings UK, Handmade Statement Jewellery UK

These longer length pink statement earrings are an unusual design as are all of my unique handmade statement jewellery designs. Another statement earring design where I have combined semi-precious gemstone beads and sterling silver.

A combination of semi-precious agate, semi-precious jasper and crystal quartz have been used with the sterling silver to create these long pink statement earrings.

At the base of these long pink earrings sits a pink disc of the semi-precious gemstone jasper. 

I have set this jasper disc under a round deep cerise pink coloured semi-precious agate bead and these two pink semi-precious gemstones have been spaced with a purple coloured crystal quartz stick.

All these pink semi-precious gemstones sit under a sterling silver post and have been spaced with sterling silver beads. 

Much of the length in this handcrafted statement jewellery earring design is achieved with the extra long sterling silver earring hooks. 

I have a pair of long statement earrings similar to these but with blue colours and I will always receive nice compliments when I wear them. It's nice when someone compliments me on my own designs and it is also nice to know that if you purchase a piece of unique statement jewellery and know that it is not going to be seen worn by anyone else.

This is the last unique semi-precious statement jewellery design that I am going to show you now but it certainly is not the least it is just one of the many unique handmade jewellery designs that I have on my online store Making A Statement Jewellery UK.

This is a semi-precious gemstone and sterling silver statement necklace design where I have used large chunky blocks of the semi-precious gemstone agate in bold and bright colours. These chunky semi-precious agate gemstone beads are triangular in shape.

In the centre of this agate gemstone statement necklace I have set 5 of these large bright agate gemstone beads and to highlight these brightly coloured gemstone agate beads I have set roundels of a mate black onyx. Again with placing the black semi-precious stones against the agate it makes the bright and bold colours appear stronger and brighter.

This semi-precious gemstone statement necklace continues with sterling silver S shaped beads and more of the brightly covered agate and mat black onyx beads. The necklace finishes with sterling silver tubes.

I chose to use these sterling silver tube beads instead of sterling silver chain in my unique handmade statement jewellery designs because these are strung onto a plastic coated wire because of the weight of the semi-precious stones and it makes the piece of unique statement jewellery a lot stronger and also it gives more scope to create more unique designs
