I have used  lighter coloured smoky quartz semi-precious beads with these handmade smoky quartz earrings.

At the base of the semi-precious quartz drop earring I have placed a 10mm round multi faceted smoky quartz bead. The dozens of facets on this smoky quartz bead means it catches the light beautifully. 

This 10mm smoky quartz bead has been topped with a 4mm round smoky quartz bead and these I have spaced with sterling silver spacer beads. 

With these handmade smoky quartz earrings I have used round shaped sterling silver earring hooks.
