Amethyst Necklace, Sterling Silver Amethyst Necklace

In the centre of this beautiful amethyst necklace I have placed 3 large diamond shaped deep purple coloured amethyst gemstone beads. Each of these amethyst gemstone beads have been spaced with a faceted rondelles of the green/purple semi-precious gemstone ruby in zoisite. This lovely rich coloured semi-precious stone works beautifully with the deep purple of the amethyst.

This sterling silver and amethyst necklace continues with S shaped sterling silver tubes and between each of these I have set another of the large deep purple coloured amethyst beads framed with the ruby in zoisite gemstone bead.

The sterling silver and amethyst amethyst necklace continues with sterling silver liquid silver beads and in these I have set more or the ruby in zoisite gemstone beads and squares of amethyst.

I have used a sterling silver hook and eye clasp as a fastener with this amethyst gemstone necklace.

I used sterling silver liquid silver beads other than chain with my handmade jewellery designs for a couple of reasons, these sterling silver tubes have been threaded onto a strong jewellery wire so the necklace has the strength to hold the semi-precious gemstone beads and all though it does take me longer to make but it does mean I can add extra design detail in the necklace.
